If this is from a before-and-after health post, be cautious: photos of hands before and after a “homemade remedy” do not prove that the remedy caused a change. Lighting, camera angle, hydration, temperature, hand position, and normal day-to-day changes can make veins, wrinkles, or skin texture look very different.
A homemade remedy may moisturize or temporarily improve the appearance of skin, but claims that it can quickly:
- erase signs of aging,
- “remove toxins,”
- fix circulation,
- reverse vein visibility, or
- transform hands in a short time
are generally not supported by good evidence.
For healthier-looking hands, approaches with better support include:
- Using a moisturizer regularly (especially after washing)
- Applying sunscreen to the backs of hands
- Protecting hands from harsh chemicals and excessive washing
- Maintaining good hydration and nutrition
If you share what the homemade remedy is supposed to contain or the full claim, I can help evaluate whether there is any evidence that it works.
