Sarcopenia: Causes of Muscle Loss and Solutions
Sarcopenia is the age-related loss of skeletal muscle mass, strength, and physical performance. It usually becomes more noticeable after about age 50 and can increase the risk of falls, fractures, frailty, and loss of independence.

1. Aging-related muscle changes
