You only need 2 natural ingredients! ๐Ÿ˜Ž How to clean a gas stove top so it looks like new

You only need 2 natural ingredients ๐Ÿ˜Ž

For a greasy gas stovetop, baking soda and white vinegar can help loosen grime and residue. But don’t mix large amounts together and expect the fizz to do all the workโ€”the two ingredients largely neutralize each other. It’s more effective to use them in separate steps.

Turn off the gas and let the stove cool completely.
Remove the grates and burner caps if your owner’s manual allows it.
Sprinkle baking soda over stubborn, greasy areas.
Add a little water to make a paste and let it sit for about 15โ€“20 minutes.
Gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge or soft brush.
Wipe away the baking soda residue.
Lightly apply white vinegar to the remaining film, then wipe with a clean damp microfiber cloth.
Dry the burner parts completely before putting them back. Water or cleaner should not be allowed to remain around gas ports or igniters.

Important: Check your stove’s manual first. Some cast-iron grates shouldn’t be soaked, and manufacturers may specify particular cleaning products or methods.

For everyday cleaning, warm water plus a little dish soap is often all you need; wiping spills after the stove cools can prevent heavy buildup.
