Watch for sudden episodes of:
Numbness or weakness on one side of the face, arm, or leg.
Drooping on one side of the face.
Difficulty speaking or understanding speech.
Sudden vision loss or double/blurred vision.
Sudden dizziness or loss of balance.
Difficulty walking or coordinating movements.
Sudden severe headache with no obvious cause.
Sudden confusion or unusual difficulty understanding what is happening.
Temporary inability to move or control an arm or leg.
Brief stroke-like episodes that completely disappear—these may be TIAs and should never be dismissed.

🚨 Don’t wait a month—or even an hour
Use B.E. F.A.S.T.:
B — Balance: sudden loss of balance
E — Eyes: sudden vision changes
F — Face: facial drooping
A — Arm: weakness or numbness
S — Speech: slurred or difficult speech
T — Time: call emergency services immediately
Even if the symptoms disappear, a suspected TIA requires urgent medical assessment. TIAs can precede a major stroke, and the risk can be particularly high in the days and weeks afterward.
