Slow-Cooker Garlic Herb Chicken Tenderloins

If you mean a “throw everything in” raw chicken tenderloin recipe, here’s an easy one:

Slow-Cooker Garlic Herb Chicken Tenderloins

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lb (700–900 g) raw chicken tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place the raw chicken tenderloins directly into the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and add the butter.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1½ hours, depending on thickness.
  5. Check the thickest piece with a food thermometer. Chicken should reach 165°F (74°C) internally.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice before serving.

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.

Tip: Don’t rely only on cooking time—use a thermometer to confirm the chicken reaches 165°F/74°C.
