🚨 10 signs everyone should know
Face drooping — one side of the face may suddenly sag, especially when smiling.
Arm weakness or numbness — one arm may suddenly feel weak or drift downward when both arms are raised.
Speech problems — speech may suddenly become slurred, confused, or difficult to understand.
Sudden weakness or numbness on one side — this can involve the face, arm, or leg.
Sudden trouble seeing — blurred, double, or lost vision in one or both eyes.
Sudden difficulty speaking or understanding — someone may struggle to find words or understand what others are saying.
Sudden confusion or memory problems — a person may suddenly seem disoriented or unable to think clearly.
Sudden dizziness or loss of balance — particularly when it appears abruptly or occurs with other stroke symptoms.
Sudden difficulty walking or coordinating movements — stumbling or falling without an obvious reason can be a warning sign.

Don’t wait for symptoms to improve. A transient ischemic attack (TIA or “mini-stroke”) can produce similar symptoms that disappear after minutes or hours, but it still requires urgent medical assessment because it can warn of a subsequent stroke.
