Ingredients

  • 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 8 chicken thighs)
  • 1 (10.5 oz / 300 g) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz / 225 g) container sour cream

Optional: Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, or chopped parsley.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Arrange the chicken in a single layer.
  4. In a bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes if you’d like the top to brown slightly.
