5 colors to avoid after 50: they can dull your glow

The idea that certain colors should be “avoided after 50” is a style preference, not a rule. People of any age can wear any color they enjoy. However, some shades may look less flattering for certain skin tones because of changes in hair color, skin tone, or contrast over time.

Colors that some people find trickier to wear as they get older include:

  1. Very pale beige or dull nude tones
