One vitamin that opens blood vessels and improves circulation

If you mean which vitamin can cause blood vessels to widen, the answer most often cited is niacin (vitamin B3).

🩸 Vitamin B3 (Niacin) and Blood Flow

Niacin, specifically nicotinic acid, can cause temporary vasodilation of small blood vessels in the skin. This produces the familiar “niacin flush”—warmth, redness, tingling, or itching. (ODS)

However, this doesn’t mean niacin is a proven treatment for poor circulation or blocked arteries. The flushing effect is a side effect of higher supplemental doses, not a reason to take large amounts of niacin.

⚠️ Don’t take high-dose niacin casually

High doses can cause flushing, dizziness and low blood pressure, and prolonged or very high doses can cause liver toxicity and other serious adverse effects. (ODS)

Most people can obtain enough vitamin B3 through a normal diet, so taking a high-dose supplement specifically to “open blood vessels” isn’t recommended without medical guidance.
