Instructions

1. Bake the cake layers

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Grease and line 2–3 cake pans.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  6. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.
  7. Pour into pans and bake 25–30 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before assembling.

2. Make edible cookie dough

  1. Heat-treat flour (bake at 160°C for 5 minutes and cool).
  2. Beat butter and sugars until creamy.
  3. Add vanilla and salt.
  4. Mix in flour and milk until dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.

3. Make frosting

  1. Beat butter until fluffy.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually.

4. Assemble the cake

  4. Repeat layers.
