Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient BiscuitsThese simple biscuits rely on self-rising flour and heavy cream to create soft, tender biscuits with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Place the self-rising flour in a bowl.
  3. Slowly add the heavy cream and stir until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it about ¾-inch (2 cm) thick.
  5. Cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter or glass.
  6. Place biscuits on a baking sheet (touching for softer sides or spaced apart for crispier edges).
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until lightly golden.

Tips for extra tender biscuits

  • Handle the dough as little as possible.
  • Use cold cream for a lighter texture.
  • For a richer flavor, brush the tops with melted butter right after baking.

Serve warm with butter, honey, jam, gravy, or your favorite breakfast topping.
