If you’re referring to the viral claim “Clean 15 kilograms of waste from your colon in one night,” that claim is not medically credible.
The important truth
A healthy colon does not normally accumulate 15 kg of “old waste” that needs to be detoxed. Your colon continually moves stool toward the rectum, and bowel movements eliminate it naturally.
A large bowel movement after a laxative or “colon cleanse” can make the scale temporarily drop, but much of that weight is water and intestinal contents, not 15 kg of toxins or accumulated waste.
What actually happens during a medical bowel cleanse?
There is a legitimate reason doctors sometimes empty the colon rapidly: before a colonoscopy. Doctors prescribe specific bowel-preparation medicines that cause substantial diarrhea, usually beginning the evening before and sometimes continuing the next morning. The goal is to leave little or no stool so the doctor can see the colon clearly.

That is very different from a home “detox.”
⚠️ Why aggressive cleansing can be dangerous
Taking excessive laxatives, enemas, or concentrated cleansing products can cause:
Dehydration
Dangerous electrolyte disturbances
Kidney injury
Abnormal heart rhythms
Severe diarrhea and abdominal cramping
The FDA has specifically reported serious dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities from excessive doses of sodium-phosphate laxatives, with greater risk in people over 55, people with kidney disease or dehydration, and those taking certain medications.

If you’re constipated
A safer approach is usually adequate fluids, gradually increasing dietary fiber, physical activity, and—when appropriate—a short-term laxative recommended by a healthcare professional. Adults generally need about 22–34 g of fiber daily, depending on age and sex.

If constipation comes with blood in the stool, persistent abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, inability to pass gas, or unexplained weight loss, you should seek medical evaluation rather than attempting a colon cleanse.

Bottom line: There is no safe, evidence-based recipe that “removes 15 kg of waste” from a normal colon overnight. The dramatic weight loss advertised by these detox claims is not the same thing as removing toxins from the body.
