🌱 “These Seeds Destroy Even the Deadliest Disease” — What Does the Evidence Say?
That headline is far stronger than the scientific evidence supports. Seeds such as flax, chia, pumpkin, sunflower, and black seed can provide useful nutrients, fiber, healthy fats, and plant compounds, but no seed has been proven to destroy or cure a deadly disease such as cancer. The National Cancer Institute says there is currently no proof that a particular food, herb, supplement, or dietary combination can cure cancer.

Some seed-derived compounds are being studied in laboratory and animal research, and certain dietary patterns are associated with better long-term health outcomes. But findings from cells or animals do not establish that eating a particular seed treats disease in humans.

“These Nutrient-Rich Seeds May Support Overall Health—But Can They Really Fight Disease?”
