I Didn’t Believe This Floor Trick Until I Tried It… Now I’ll Never Go Back

If you mean the viral “floor trick”, one of the common versions is white vinegar diluted in warm water. It can cut through grime and residue and leave some ceramic/porcelain, vinyl, or laminate floors looking cleaner.

Try this
Mix ½ cup white vinegar with about 1 gallon (3.8 L) of warm water.
Sweep or vacuum first.
Mop with a damp, well-wrung mop rather than soaking the floor.
Let it dry completely.
⚠️ Don’t use this trick on every floor

Never use vinegar on marble, limestone, travertine, or other acid-sensitive natural stone. The acid can etch and permanently dull the surface. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner instead.

Also, vinegar is a cleaner, not a reliable disinfectant, so don’t rely on it when you specifically need to kill harmful pathogens.
